Gastric Balloon

Gastric balloon for obesity is one of the best nonsurgical alternatives for bariatric surgery. Generally, the people with low BMI opt for the gastric balloon. Most patients lose between 15 and 30 Kg over 6 months.

Gastric Balloon procedure is performed using an endoscope and may take approximately 15-30 minutes. During the procedure, a balloon filled with saline is placed inside the stomach.  Gastric Balloon procedure is reversible i.e. the balloon can be removed with endoscope after 6 months.
